Her crossover to the mainstream scene took place in 2012 when she was cast in the hit series “Princess and I” followed by the film “She’s The One” in 2013. The following year, she landed her first lead role in “Relaks, It’s Just Pag-ibig” and reaped praises and awards. She received her first leading role on TV in 2017 through “Pusong Ligaw” while her first primetime title project came in 2018 through the fantaserye “Bagani.” But Sofia was able to showcase her flexibility even more through her succeeding films: the horror film “Pwera Usog” and the thriller flick “Bloody Crayons” in 2017 and the drama film “Mama’s Girl” in 2018.
