Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino almost share a kiss in ‘My Love Will Make You Disappear’ teaser

The official teaser of Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino’s upcoming romantic comedy movie “My Love Will Make You Disappear” is finally here, and it’s giving viewers a glimpse of a chance encounter like no other!

First revealed during the ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2024 on December 10 at the Araneta Coliseum, the teaser sets the stage for a love story with intriguing twists. The chemistry between Kim and Paulo, dubbed “KimPau” by their adoring fans, takes center stage in one heart-stopping moment in the rain.

The teaser begins with Kim’s character enjoying a quiet moment on a bridge, engrossed in a Korean drama she’s viewing from her phone. But the calm doesn’t last, as an unexpected downpour sends her scrambling to gather her things.

Just as she’s about to leave, Paulo’s character appears from a distance, in sharp black suit and bowtie, and runs towards the direction of Kim.

Their worlds collide, literally, when Paulo accidentally bumps into Kim, bringing them face-to-face, so close it feels like time stood still. For a moment, it seems like an accidental kiss might happen, but before Kim can react, Paulo dashes off again.

The teaser then poses the question, “Kung ang love ay nawawala nang paulit-ulit, susugal ba ulit?”

“My Love Will Make You Disappear” from Star Cinema is directed by Chad Vidanes, known for working with KimPau on the hit series “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim”.

During the New Movie Alert event for the film last August, Direk Chad shared that the story concept was developed by Prime Cruz, with the screenplay crafted by Patrick Valencia and Isabella Policarpio.

Excited to see Kim and Paulo light up the big screen? Mark your calendars — “My Love Will Make You Disappear” premieres in cinemas nationwide on February 12, 2025!
