Maxene started really young in the business as part of the kiddie TV shows “Ang TV” and “5 and Up.” Despite this, she was never really new in the industry as she is the eldest daughter of the late Master Rapper, Francis Magalona. She returned to ABS-CBN in 2014 and immediately did hosting stints. Her first show was “Dream Dad” followed by “Nathaniel.” However, she made the most mark when she breathed life to Alex Acosta on “Doble Kara.” While she has also dabbled in comedy, Maxene’s portrayal of an antagonist in “Playhouse” and in the recently-concluded primetime show “Viral Scandal” has earned her more raves and appreciation.
