BINI dominates YouTube’s list of top music videos in PH
This 2024, BINI reigns supreme not just on Spotify, but also on YouTube.
ABS-CBN’s 8-member girl group dominated YouTube’s list of top music videos in the Philippines for 2024, the streaming platform announced Thursday.
The music video for “Salamin, Salamin” is the most watched video on YouTube in the country with 73 million, with the lyric video for the same track making it to the 8th spot (23 million views).
Another BINI hit, “Cherry On Top,” placed second with 43 million views
This year’s list of top music videos on YouTube in the Philippines is mostly composed of songs by local talents — save for “Die With A Smile” by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga, which ranked 6th.
“In the Philippines, YouTube isn’t just a global platform; it’s a vibrant reflection of Filipino culture,” Mervin Wenke, head of communications and public affairs of Google Philippines, said in a statement.
